Kakao M has published the photos from the script reading of his upcoming remake drama. “A love so beautiful”!

“A love so beautiful” is that Korean remake of the popular Chinese drama of the same name from 2017. It is about a bright and energetic student named Shin Sol Yi (So ju yeon) and her childhood friend named Cha Heon (Kim Yo Han), who she has had a crush on for 17 years.

Present at the script reading were Kim Yo Han, So Ju Yeon, Yeo Hoe Hyun, Jo Hye Joo, Jung Jin Hwan, and more.

Kim Yo Han’s character, Cha Heon, is a cold and handsome student who has everything from good looks to mind. He often looks expressionless and is cool in his attitude, but he has a secret loving side. Ju Yeon’s character, Shin Sol Yi, is a refreshing and lovable character who isn’t afraid to tell Cha Heon how she feels about him.

Yeo Hoe Hyun plays Woo Dae Sung, a transfer student who forms a love triangle with Cha Heon and Shin Sol Yi. Jo Hye Joo plays Kang Ha Young, a classmate at her high school who is also Shin Sol Yi’s best friend. She is a hot tempered girl crush character who always jumps in defense of her friends. She also has a one-sided crush on her school nurse (played by Lee Joo Hwan). Jung Jin Hwan plays a character with the same name as himself, a student who dreams of becoming a singer and who has a one-sided crush on Kang Ha Young.

“A love so beautiful” will be broadcasted a total of 24 episodes of 20 minutes each. It will air every Monday, Thursday and Saturday starting December 28th at 5 p.m. KST on KakaoTV.
