EVERGLOW's Yiren and Sihyeon Test Positive for COVID-19

EVERGLOW‘s Yiren and Sihyeon both tested positive for COVID-19.

On the evening of December 1, Yuehua Entertainment released a statement announcing that Yiren and Sihyeon had been diagnosed with COVID-19. The agency also announced that the other four members of EVERGLOW, even though they tested negative for the virus, would be quarantined every two weeks as a precautionary measure.

We inform you of the news that Yiren by our artist EVERGLOW has tested positive for COVID-19.

Yiren recently learned that an acquaintance of her had been confirmed [positive for COVID-19]So she informed the health authorities and volunteered to have tests. On the evening of December 1st, she received news that her test results were positive.

The EVERGLOW members who lived with Yiren were also tested together. Sihyeon’s test results were positive and the other four members were negative.

Currently the artists, employees and employees of our agency who have crossed over or with whom they came in contact [Yiren and Sihyeon] either have already been tested or plan to be tested. When we get the results and there is something out of the ordinary, we will take further action and proceed with an additional analysis of their movements.

Yiren and Sihyeon, who test positive, will follow instructions from health authorities. and although their test results were negative, the remaining EVERGLOW members and the staff they came in close contact with were negative [Yiren and Sihyeon] will go into voluntary self-isolation for two weeks.

Our entire agency will actively follow government guidelines to prevent the spread of [COVID-19]and we will check that there is no risk of further infection in the company. We’ll also work even harder to do our best to take care of our artists.
