After posing in a number of flashy looks for the December issue of the magazine, Lee Dae Hwi commented, “I’ve posed for a lot of pictures during my idol career, but I’ve always had the urge to try a bold concept like this . Thanks to this opportunity, I was able to satisfy this urge. I wanted to look different from Lee Dae Hwi by trying bold new hairstyles, makeup, and poses. ”

The idol continued, “Even if others think it’s strange or unfamiliar, I want to keep trying new things.”

Lee Dae Hwi stated that he hopes to overcome conventional stereotypes about gender, noting, “If I adopt a sexy concept rather than a fixed notion of ‘male sexuality’ or ‘female sexuality’, I want it to be resolved as” just Lee Dae Hwi. ” That’s 2020, isn’t it? I hope people look at all of these things openly. My music, performances, and even that kind of photo shoot. ”

He added, “I hope that kind of bigotry will open up a bit in my generation.”
