On the January 17th episode of SBS “Master in the house, ” Lee Seung Gi, Yang se hyung, Shin sang rok, Cha eun woo and Kim Dong Hyun have teamed up with music actors Choi Jung Won, Kim So Hyun and Cha Ji Yeon to perform some successful musical numbers.
Lee Seung Gi played “Sarang-ga”, a song from “Seopyeonje”, a stage musical adaptation of the successful film of the same name, together with Cha Ji Yeon. the film is about Pansori, a traditional Korean genre of musical storytelling. Therefore, Lee Seung Gi and Cha Ji Yeon’s performance showed that the two wore traditional clothing and accompanied their singing with a traditional drum.
Yang Se Hyung, Cha Eun Woo and Kim Dong Hyun worked together with Choi Jung Won, opted for a more modern version and played “All That Jazz” from the musical “Chicago”. Yang Se Hyung caught the attention of others with his interesting facial expressions, while Kim Dong Hyun showed his tight arms in his sleeveless suit. ASTRO’s Cha Eun Woo displayed his lithe dancing skills that captured the hearts of the other performers with his serious commitment to the performance.
Finally, Shin Sung Rok and Kim So Hyun sang “Phantom of the Opera” together, with Kim So Hyun playing the role of Christine and Shin Sung Rok the Phantom. The performers reacted with excitement when they heard the well-known overture to the world-famous musical and prepared the size of the set. The other actresses were also impressed by Shin Sung Rok’s powerful and deep voice
