Wendy said of the host cast, “The first thing I thought was, ‘Me? ‘ I could not believe it. But it was with high level artists that I respect, so I wanted to do it really well. This is the first time I’ve been a main MC on a show in a while, and it was the first time I’ve been on TV in a while so I was really nervous. ”

Kyuhyun said, “I heard there was going to be a new variety show. I heard it was a talk show related to music and I thought it sounded funny. I was really looking forward to working with Yoon Jong Shin for the first time in a while. I was also excited to work with Jang Yoon Jung and Wendy. ”

Commenting on her reason for being on “Mystical Record Shop”, Wendy said, “I think I’m the type who listens to a lot of different pieces of music. There were also times when I would recommend songs to fans while I was talking to them. If I recommend a song to someone that they don’t know and like, it makes me happy. I also learned a lot from the older artists I worked with. Yoon Jong Shin, Jang Yoon Jung and Kyuhyun have such a broad musical spectrum. They know a lot of older songs, so I learned a lot from them. ”

When asked which MC she was most excited about, she picked them all and said, “I felt this through his monthly projects, but Yoon Jong Shin is just an amazing person. I met Jang Yoon Jung on another show before and she took really good care of me. I’ve seen a lot of shows that have Kyuhyun on. But apart from small encounters at SMTOWN concerts, I haven’t spoken to him very often. I looked forward to working with him after seeing how well he established his own role in variety shows. It is an honor to work with him as an MC.”

Picking Jang Yoon Jung in response to the same question, Kyuhyun said, “She’s not someone I met often at variety shows, so I was curious to see how we would flow together. I’ve worked with Yoon Jong Shin for a long time, so I know him very well. But he’s been abroad for a while so I wondered what his talk show skills would be like, but they were just as good as always. I only knew Wendy as a friendly and respectful young artist and was curious to see what she would look like on a variety show. ”

Wendy said she enjoyed listening to the diverse life experiences of guests on the show. “It felt like I was in the audience, I was so engrossed in their stories,” she said. “Each of the guests comes from a different profession and I felt like I wanted to try them all. Since I came to Korea in high school, all I’ve been thinking about is becoming a singer. I have no other experience in society. I think this show was a chance for me to learn more about Korean society. ”

Kyuhyun said, “I’m the type who listens to ballads 365 days a year. I also listen to old songs from the 80s and 90s, the 2000s. Recently I was listening to the songs that came from the show ‘Sing Again’. ”

Wendy concluded, “It’s been a long time since I’ve met my fans and I’m glad I got them through a good show like this. It’s also a show that I can learn a lot from. I hope it will be a chance for the audience to let go of their heavy hearts for a while. ”
