Pledis Entertainment announces plans to increase the intensity of legal action against malicious comments

Pledis Entertainment announced plans to handle malicious comments against SEVENTEEN and NU’EST.

On November 23, the following statement was posted on both groups’ fan pages:

Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment.

We would like to thank the many fans who love and support Pledis Entertainment’s artists. We are here today to share our response to violations of our artists’ rights.

We have taken legal action against those who publish defamation, spread false rumors, defamation, insults and malicious posts of a similar nature.

Recently, there has been an increase in comments and posts found and distributed in online communities, blogs, social media platforms, news articles, music streaming applications and much more that cross the line in malicious intent.

In response, we have decided to strengthen our artist protection policy by regularly taking legal action against these malicious acts. We want to emphasize that we will not show indulgence or consider comparisons.

If you come across malicious content aimed at our artist or artists, please report it to us on our official channel to include reports.

We are always grateful for the support and commitment of the fans.

We will continue to work to protect the rights of our artists.

Many thanks.
