Netflix ‘upcoming original series “Sweet Home” has released its official trailer!
Based on a hit webtoon, “Sweet Home” is about a lonely student named Cha Hyun Soo (Song Kang) who is moving into a new home after losing his family in a tragic accident. There he is faced with a series of shocking and terrifying events when people suddenly turn into monsters around him.
The trailer begins with Cha Hyun Soo moving into his new apartment and being driven to the brink of desperation. The day he wants to end it all, he sees the terrible sight of a woman who turns into a monster. Soon, residents of the apartment find they are locked up when the government informs all citizens that they are in quarantine due to a mysterious infection that is turning people into monsters.
Cha Hyun Soo soon shows signs of infection, including nosebleeds and hypothermia, but to his surprise, he doesn’t transform into a monster. Instead, he receives superpowers that will help him fight back against the monsters and save his apartment neighbors, and give ordinary people the opportunity to defend themselves against this terrifying new threat.
Other actors in “Sweet Home” are Lee Jin Wook who plays a mysterious ex-detective; Lee Si Young who plays a former firefighter; Lee Do Hyun who plays a brilliant student with strong leadership skills; Go Min Si, who plays Lee Do Hyun’s younger sister; Kim Nam Heea Korean teacher; Park Gyu young, an aspiring musician; and Go yoon young, a professional caregiver.
