“True beauty” Stars Moon ga young, Cha eun woo, and Hwang in yeob recently sat down for an interview about her upcoming drama!
The series revolves around three school friends growing as individuals and in their relationships. Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) is a character who uses the power of makeup to overcome their insecurities. Lee Su Ho (Cha Eun Woo) is a popular student with a dark story of his own involving Han Seo Jun (Hwang In Yeob), who is known for being cold on the outside and sweet on the inside.
The premise of the interview was that the actors speak openly and comfortably about “True beauty” in an informal language in order to make the encounter more personal.
The trio answers a question about how each prepared to take on their “True beauty” respective roles. Moon Ga Young responds that because she needs to have two very different looks on screen, she goes countless hours behind the scenes to put those looks together. Cha Eun Woo agrees with her and applauds for the hard work she has done.
Cha Eun Woo answered the question himself and said: “Thanks to Su Ho, I took on Jiu Jitsu. I enjoy it and feel like I have a new hobby. “Hwang In Yeob next picks up the microphone and announces that he has obtained a motorcycle license and started practicing singing to suit his multi-faceted character.
When Cha Eun Woo asks him to show off a bit of his singing skills, Moon Ga Young interferes and suggests keeping it a secret so viewers can watch the show.
The three actors also talk about “True beauty” in their first meeting. Hwang In Yeob shares that he first met Cha Eun Woo in an elevator and that his good looks are evident even with a mask on. Cha Eun Woo mentions that Hwang In Yeob greeted him first, and Moon Ga Young says he did the same when they met while reading the script.
“I was really surprised,” says Moon Ga Young, saying she liked Hwang In Yeob’s voice. Cha Eun Woo adds that Hwang In Yeob looked exactly like Han Seo Jun in the original Webtoon, and he also mentions that Moon Ga Young and himself went to the same school together. “It was fun playing with someone I know,” said Moon Ga Young.
Within the “True beauty” interview there is a section where Moon Ga Young asks the other two about their knowledge of makeup and makeup tools while she is dealing with the items. Hwang In Yeob was quick to guess the correct answers for mascara and an eyelash curler and impressed Moon Ga Young.
