As KBS 2TV’s “2 days & 1 night“ Geographic director (PD) Bang Geul Yi celebrated the one year anniversary of his fourth season and sat down for an interview to look back on the past year.
On December 8th, the current line-up of “2 days & 1 night season 4” Rank in her first anniversary of her time on the hit variety show. PD Bang Geul Yi, thanking the loyal viewers of the program, commented, “2020 has been a very difficult year in many ways, but I think the mere fact that we were able to continue without a break was a big one in and of itself was a blessing. Although there are inevitable moments when we feel exhausted, thanks to the support of the viewers who wait for our program at the same time every week, we were able to successfully reach our first anniversary. ”
The PD also talked about what they think makes the current season of “2 Days & 1 Night” different from previous seasons.
“To be honest, most of our performers were newbies who made this their first reality variety show,” said Bang Geul Yi. “I think what made this season stand out was the way members could grow and improve in so many different ways Kim jong min‘s endless growth as’ the intermittent ace’ instead of just its’ excited simpleton ‘image. ”
When asked about the actor who has changed the most since they first met, the PD replied: “Kim Seon Ho has changed a lot in a good way. Until he started to let his natural side shine through, you could sometimes feel a little shyness or hesitation on his part. However, these days you can see he’s having fun [during filming]and he shows the side of himself that I’ve been looking forward to from the start. He’s a fun member to watch out for. ”
Bang Geul Yi shared what was her biggest challenge so far this season: “Of course there were coronavirus-related issues, but the hardest part for me as a director was the episode” Magnificent Vacation “that us filmed during the rainy season. We’ve been running around in the pouring rain all day to enable our Plan B and C and respond to them [weather] Location. ”
“The whole crew, including the cast, came together as one person and followed my example,” she continued, “and I could really feel that ‘2 Days & 1 Night’ is a program that we are all working on together. It felt great because I knew I could count on her. ”
“2 Days & 1 Night Season 4” will be broadcast on Sundays at 6:30 p.m. KST.
