The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards will take place on December 11th.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, several security measures will be taken at this year’s ceremony. The ceremony will take place in Paradise City in Incheon and will be “ontact” which means there will be no live audience in the arena. However, a multiscreen will be set up near the stage so that fans can cheer on their stars via a video screen.
There is a limit to the number of people who can follow social distancing guidelines in the building. There will also be temperature checks, hand sanitizer dispenser installation, and event arena sterilization. For the actors participating in the ceremony, the usual spectator seats are replaced by small tables, each with a small number of people seated. There will also be clear plastic guards to separate the celebrities.
As in previous years, the ceremony will include a red carpet event and performances by special guests. For the first time in the history of the 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards, the event will be streamed live on the red carpet worldwide via the mobile video platform TikTok. Announcers Park Shin Young and Got7s BamBam, who are fluent in multiple languages including Korean, English, Thai, and Japanese, will be the MCs for the red carpet event.
The 41st Blue Dragon Film Awards always attract an outstanding cast for congratulatory achievements. Previous artists include Rain, TVXQ, Wonder Girls, KARA, IU, TWICE, MAMAMOO and most recently SEVENTEEN. For this year’s ceremony MONSTA X., RabidAnce and boa were named as actors.
