BLACKPINK: YG will not broadcast the next "Reality Show" episode

YG won’t re-broadcast the next episode of the show Youtube from BLACKPINK, for the controversy with the pandas.

BLACKPINK interacts with pandas and infuriates Chinese citizens

YG postponed the broadcast of the last chapter of 24/365 with BLACKPINK due to the controversy that arose in ChinaAfter the members of the group touched the pandas without protection.

Following this, the Wildlife Conservation Association of China sent a letter to Everland, the theme park where the panda is looked after, and demanded that laypeople no longer come into contact with the baby panda and show these scenes in shows.

YG specified:

It was decided to postpone the last episode of “24/365 with BLACKPINK”, which will be broadcast today, November 7th (Saturday).

BLACKPINK’s experience as a panda keeper in Everland was conducted with the assistance of professional veterinarians and animal keepers, and strict guidelines for disease prevention and hygiene were followed.

When THE GIRLS met Baby Panda, all members wore hygienic gloves, masks and protective clothing, and their hands and shoes were disinfected every time the scene changed.

However, in order to respect the recommendation of panda conservation experts, who have stated that “laypeople who come into contact with a baby panda can cause misunderstandings in another dimension”, and in order to follow the international cooperation convention, we decided to hold the premiere of moving the video.

We thank everyone who has voiced their concern and asking for their unchanged love and interest in BLACKPINK and the panda.
