Towards the end of the year, some K-dramas are just beginning! Stay safe indoors this holiday season and check out these new dramas premiering this month:

“Cheat on Me If You Can” is a new comedy mystery thriller about adults dealing with all kinds of bad behavior. Jo Yeo Jeong will appear as crime novelist Kang Yeo Joo, who will spend the day thinking about different ways to kill people, while Go Joon will play her husband Han Woo Sung, a divorce lawyer who promised his wife this in writing: ” If you cheat, you die. ”

For the tenth time in a row, KBS is broadcasting a collection of short K-dramas, each with one episode. “2020 KBS Drama Special” shows 10 different projects, six of which were broadcast in November and four more in December.
“A Jaunt” depicts the friendship between an older woman and a middle-aged man when they think about family. “While You’re Away” is about a couple who split up but ended up living together. “Traces of Love” expresses the lingering feelings of a romance that has ended. After all, “One Night” is a black comedy K-drama about a man who accidentally has a bag of 100 million won (about $ 91,500).

Based on the hit Webtoon, the K-drama “True Beauty” is a romantic comedy about Lim Ju Gyeong (Moon Ga Young) who eagerly uses makeup to hide her bare face and combat insecurities about how she looks. After meeting Lee Su Ho (ASTROs Cha Eun Woo), a popular student who has his own emotional wounds, they share each other’s secrets and learn to heal through love.

“Hush” is a K-drama about the daily struggles and ethical dilemmas of newspaper reporters. Their problems are presented as those that all office workers deal with, not just as reporters. Hwang Jung Min is Han Joon Hyuk, a seasoned reporter who lost his passion for work due to the harsh realities of the industry, while YoonA plays the spirited and courageous intern Lee Ji Soo.

“Mr. Queen” is a new historical fantasy comedy K-drama about a man from modern times whose soul is trapped in the body of a Queen from the Joseon Dynasty. Shin Hye Sun plays Kim So Young, the Joseon Queen with the soul of the Blue House chef, Jang Bong Hwan, who is trapped in her. Kim Jung Hyun plays King Cheoljong, who outwardly looks like a weak and ineffective ruler, but is stronger and sharper than he appears.

“Run On” is a K-drama about people who try to connect with each other in their own language after living in different worlds and in different steps. Siwan will perform as Ki Sun Kyum, a former track and field athlete who retires and becomes a sports agent after a life changing event, while Shin Se Kyung will appear as Oh Mi Joo, an adventurous foreign film translator.
“Secret Royal Inspector”

“Secret Royal Inspector” (literal title) is a comic book mystery K-drama from the Joseon Dynasty. Kim Myung Soo plays Sung Yi Kyum, a secret royal inspector who travels undercover to the provinces to uncover corruption. Kwon Nara is Hong Da In, a Damo (a woman who works for a Joseon government office) who as gisaeng (a courtesan trained in music and the arts). Lee Yi Kyung plays Park Choon Sam, the servant and right-hand man of Sung Yi Kyum.
“Lovestruck in the City”

Broadcast details: Tuesdays and Fridays at 5 p.m. KST on Kakao TV
“Lovestruck in the City” is a K-drama about the true romance of young people struggling to survive in the hectic city and being produced for several seasons. Ji Chang Wook plays the passionate architect Park Jae Won, who chases after the “camera thief” who stole his heart on a summer night a year ago. Kim Ji Won plays the freelance marketer Lee Eun Oh, who impulsively adopts a secret alter ego named Yoon Sun Ah and falls in love with Park Jae Won.
“Marriage Lyrics, Divorce Music”

Marriage Lyrics, Divorce Music tells the stories of three charming female protagonists in their thirties, forties and fifties who are faced with unpredictable misfortunes and the problems of married couples trying to find real To find love. This will be the screenwriter Im Sung Han’s first K-drama in five years.
