Samsan Tech faces a crisis in tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Start-Up”.
“Start-Up” takes place in a fictional South Korean version of Silicon Valley, where young dreamers set out to be successful in the world of startups. Suzy Stars like Seo Dal Mi, an adventurer who dreams of becoming Steve Jobs in Korea Nam Joo Hyuk plays the role of Samsan Tech founder Nam Do San.
On November 22nd, tvN unveiled new stills of the Samsan Tech team, which looked disturbed despite taking first place at Demo Day. Seo Dal Mi, Nam Do San and Han Ji Pyung (Kim Seon Ho), Lee Chul San (Yoo su am), Kim Yong San (Kim Do Wan) and Jung Sa Ha (Stephanie Lee) all have expressions of shock on their faces. Seo Dal Mi appears to be incredulous while Nam Do San looks like he’s been completely disappointed. Even Samsan Tech’s mentor, Han Ji Pyung, looks grumpy. Lee Chul San and Kim Yong San are angry and near tears, and Jung Sa Ha has stopped. It is obvious that something terrible has hit Samsan Tech.
Before that, Samsan Tech had a number of successes. They won against Injae Company and Alex on Demo Day (Jasper cho) of 2STO said it would buy Samsan Tech for 3 billion won (approximately $ 2.7 million US).
Towards the end of the previous “Start-Up” episode, Han Ji Pyung looked at 2STO’s contract for Samsan Tech and noticed the hidden clause, “If the contract ends, your team will be broken up.” This discovery by Han Ji Pyung may have something to do with the reactions of the Samsan Tech members shown in the still images.
The next episode of “Start-Up” will be broadcast on November 22nd at 9pm KST.
