Suzy shared her thoughts on what she thinks is the best line and scene from the drama “Start-Up”!
“Start-Up” takes place in a fictional South Korean version of Silicon Valley, where young dreamers set out to be successful in the world of startups. Suzy plays Seo Dal Mi, an adventurer who dreams of becoming Steve Jobs in Korea Nam Joo Hyuk plays the role of Samsan Tech founder Nam Do San.
With only two episodes to the end, the idol actress reflected on the drama and selected the most iconic moments.
Seo Dal Mi’s passionate efforts to make her dreams come true touched the hearts of the audience. She chose Nam Do San as a business partner and even got on her knees to recruit Jung Sa Ha (Stephanie Lee) to the team. In the fifth episode, Seo Dal Mi said: “I have never regretted my decisions. I did my best to achieve this, ”which showed her firm belief and philosophy.
Suzy explained the reason this quote made such a strong impression on her. She said, “I really like it because it seems like a line that explains Seo Dal Mi. I want to pursue them that way, but it does mean that if you do anything you must strive to take responsibility for it. I think you should have achieved something first. ”
In episode 12, Seo Dal Mi broke up with Nam Do San to make sure he wouldn’t give up on his dreams. She tried to end their relationship in a cool way, but when he adamantly refused to let her go, she eventually burst and said hurtful words that she could never take back.
Talking about this heartbreaking scene, Suzy said, “There are a lot of great scenes, but that scene in Episode 12 was the most miserable and saddest moment in Seo Dal Mi’s life. When Alex was fired, she realized her incompetence as CEO and suffered the pain of losing her teammates. Despite the loss of trust and belief, she wanted to help Nam Do San to realize his dreams, which is why she said these harsh words to him. Just as there is no business that is successful from the start, Seo Dal Mi and Nam Do San’s first relationship didn’t go smoothly, and this was the scene where they cried heartbroken after their first breakup. ”
