UP10TION Bitto was diagnosed with COVID-19.

On November 30th, his agency issued the following statement:

Hello, this is TOP Media.

Our artist UP10TION’s bitto tested positive for COVID-19.
Upon completion of its planned activities on [November] 29 he was told that he came into close contact with a confirmed case and was tested. His diagnosis was confirmed in the morning of [November] 30th

Our agency artists, staff and staff who have crossed or come in contact with Bitto will be tested for COVID-19 and we will take quarantine measures as directed by health authorities.

The following UP10TION planned activities have all been canceled and we will once again do our best to take care of our artists and manage plumbing for COVID-19.

We sincerely apologize to the broadcasters and the staff involved as the broadcasting activities were conducted without knowing that he came into close contact with a confirmed case.

UP10TION was performed on “Music Core” and “Inkigayo” on November 28th and 29th. “Inkigayo” commented, “After learning of Bitto’s diagnosis, we immediately notified all of the cast and staff. We have secured CCTV footage and are working to search for anyone who has crossed or come in close contact.” Music Core also commented that they are considering too.
