YG Entertainment has issued a formal statement to respond to concerns about TREASURE’s new choreography.
On November 8th, the agency officially announced that it would modify the TREASURE choreography for its new title track. “MMM,” After fans raised concerns that certain movements could be dangerous to members if they were repeated.
YG Entertainment’s full statement in Korean is as follows:
Hello, this is YG Entertainment.
First of all, we would like to thank TREASURE MAKERs [TREASURE’s official fandom] for their love and interest.
In order to show their fans a cool dance performance, TREASURE practiced their choreography countless times over a long period of time, so that they could film their music video and perform on their first music show without any problems.
From their next gig, we’ll be modifying the intense choreography fans are worried about, and TREASURE plans to continue actively promoting it through the end of the year.
We would like to thank you once again for cheering TREASURE on with such warm hearts.
We will continue to consider the health and safety of TREASURE members a top priority and we will be careful in doing so [prepare] so that TREASURE can return in the future with even better choreographies and performances.
